Lead Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Rochester
Salary: £26,000 to £33,000 per annum
September 2024 to July 2025
About the role
At Vision for Education, we are working in partnership with a large mainstream Primary School in Rochester to recruit a Lead Behaviour Support Worker.
This school is motivated by the growth and development of their pupils and believe that each child has the potential to greatness, with the right support and guidance. Each pupil is encouraged to develop their independence, whilst becoming a good-mannered citizen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside SENCO in developing and maintaining strategies for managing emotional and behavioural needs.
- Provide feedback to students in relation to their progress, achievements, behaviours and attendance.
- Management over breakfast, lunch and after school clubs.
- Leading the delivery and development of the Behaviour Support within the school’s educational centre.
A successful Lead Behaviour Support Worker will:
- Demonstrate person centred approaches to enable pupils to achieve their educational goals and outcomes.
- Be able to evidence working in a Primary School classroom.
- Able to work effectively within a team.
- Experience of working with children and young people or adults with SEN, who display behaviour that challenges.
