Temporary Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 5)
Location: Primary School just outside Scarborough
Contract: Temporary / Supply
Working Pattern: 1 day per week

To start ASAP - for the rest of the academic year

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school just outside Scarborough for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach Year 5 on a temporary, one-day-per-week basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and adaptable teacher looking to maintain a healthy work–life balance while making a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role:

• Teaching a Year 5 class one day per week
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Strong classroom management skills
• A flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
