The School and Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Uckfield, teaching a Year 5/6 class for 3 days a week (0.6 FTE). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or someone returning to the profession who is committed to inspiring pupils and helping them reach their full potential.
As a KS2 teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum, assess pupil progress, and create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will be part of a collaborative staff team that values inclusion, creativity, and high standards of teaching.
The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in KS2, preferably Year 5/6

A creative, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to teaching

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
