Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Key Stage One Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) to work part-time at a primary school in the Newcastle area.

About the role

This position set to commence at the beginning of June for four weeks, working between the hours of 08:30-15:30, three days per week. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working within a Year 1 class of 30 pupils. They must be confident with the Key Stage One National Curriculum and be committed towards providing outstanding support.

This is a lovely, modern setting situated within the heart of Newcastle. The Head Teacher is looking to appoint a professional and motivated candidate to join their team to provide excellent support within the Key Stage One.


To be considered for the role of Key Stage One Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) you will:
  • • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Teaching and Learning Qualification.
  • • Read, Write, Inc Phonics experience is desirable.
  • • Be committed to working between the hours of 08:30-15:30.
  • • Have experience of offering tailored support.

£69 to £75 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Level 3 Teaching and Learning Qualification or equivalent.
