Vision for Education are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage One.

About the role

This role is based at a Primary School in the Newcastle area and is set to commence in December 2022 until April 2023, working part time hours between 08:30-12:30. The successful candidate will have a profound understanding of the Read, Write, Inc, Phonics Programme and be able to confidently deliver differentiated learning to a small group of pupils. This role is to specifically target pupils who are working below the expected level in Phonics to support their learning and academic achievements.

This is a larger than average provision set in the heart of Newcastle which is supported by a fantastic teaching team and Governors. The staff members promote excellent behaviour and working relationships of which the pupils are engaging and eager learners.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage One Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant you will:
  • • Have had experience of supporting children with diverse needs.
  • • Have experience of teaching Read, Write, Inc.
  • • Hold a minimum of Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification.
  • • Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude towards teaching and learning.
  • • Be creative and enthusiastic towards delivering learning to the children.

Salary

£346 to £365 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
