Contract: Temporary / Supply

We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and supportive primary school just outside Scarborough for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach Year 6 on a temporary, two-days-per-week basis.
This role would suit a confident and committed teacher who enjoys supporting pupils in upper KS2 and helping them prepare for the transition to secondary school.
The Role:
- Teaching a Year 6 class for two days per week
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Supporting pupils with SATs preparation where appropriate
- Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment
- Working closely with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
