Working as part of a dynamic and creative Key Stage 1 (KS1) team, the Key Stage 1 (KS1 TA) will focus on providing phonics interventions. At times the successful Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) will also be providing general classroom support for a class of 26 Year 1 children. Read, Write Inc experience is beneficial. Requirements
- • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
- • Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an school environment.
- • Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
- • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- • Have experience supporting children in primary education in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
- • Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
About Vision for Education
Salary
£360 to £400 per week
- Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 2 in Teaching and Supporting Learning.
