Vision for Education is looking to appoint a KS1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a friendly primary school in Durham.
About the role
This is a full-time supply TA role, which will commence in September until Christmas. Working as part of a dynamic and creative team in a primary school you will be providing intervention and group support with phonics, as well as general support in Key Stage 1. Previous experience supporting SEND children is essential. This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm.

As a large sized primary school, the school educates children from Nursery to Year 6 with a two form entry format.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant you will:
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning or Childcare.
- Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
- Possess experience working with SEND children on a 1:1 basis.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Level 2 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning or Childcare.
