£801 - £1192.95 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role

We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in the Stanley area, DH9. Working as part of an established team, the desired Key Stage 1 Teacher will be teaching in Year 2. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4pm as part of a maternity cover. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and is part of a multi-academy trust.

Requirements

The desired Key Stage 2 Teacher will have;

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS within the UK
