Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within a Primary School in the Newcastle area.

About the role

This is a full-time role, commencing in October 2022- February 2023, working between the hours of 08:30-15:30. The successful candidate will have experience of completing a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant role and be confident covering classes from Early Years – Upper Key Stage 2. The HLTA will be following the class teachers planning at all times and must be able to confidently mark a range of subjects in line with the school’s marking policy.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will:
  • • Level 5 Qualification or above in education or childcare.
  • • Be comfortable working across Key Stages.
  • • Be able to work independently and as part of a team to support pupils learning and development.
  • • Have excellent knowledge of the Curriculum.

Salary

£400 to £450 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • • Level 5 Qualification or above in education or childcare.
