Vision For Education are currently recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start after the Easter break. This is a full-time position for the remainder of the academic year.

About the role

The position will involve working within a whole class setting as well as supporting the needs of small groups and on an individual basis.

About the school

The school is a one form-entry school that is a part of an established academy trust. The position is at a small, community orientated school based in Darenth, Dartford. The SLT team are highly dedicated to supporting staff and inspiring reflective and independent learners. We are keen to speak to experienced teaching assistants with a passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential. We are looking for someone who can help foster resilience and high aspirations in learners and join a caring team.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have previous experience working as a TA in KS2, experience as a HLTA would be beneficial
  • Hold a GCSE level English and Maths
  • A HLTA qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Most importantly, is passionate about supporting children in their learning

Salary

£18,700 to £21,200 per year

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold a GCSE level English and Maths
