About the role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school within at a Hull Secondary Academy. This role will commence in September 2023. Although this will initially be a long term supply role through Vision for Education, the Head Teacher has indicated that permanent role may be offered to the successful candidate.
Working closely with department heads and senior leaders, the successful Graduate Teaching Assistants, could fulfill a number support duties with the school. They will be responsible for providing targeted support and interventions pupils in Keystage 3 and at GCSE level. The successful applicant will play a vital role in 'narrowing the gap' following the COVID pandemic. This role will provide the candidate with the ideal opportunity to gain paid experience working in schools prior to teacher training. We would welcome applications from aspiring secondary school teachers.

Salary
£70 to £85 per day
- Hold minimum GCSE qualifications in English & Maths, A-levels and a Degree
- Have experience of working with young people
- Have a genuine interest in Education, you may be considering training to teach in the future
