About the role
The role of a Graduate Teaching assistant will involve supporting young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) or students who are disengaged from their mainstream school and are being supported through a reintegration plan.
This role requires a committed, enthusiastic and resilient individual, with great communication skills that has experience working with children with additional needs. Duties may include but are not limited to personal care, feeding and changing. Hoist – moving and handling.

Requirements
- Have recently completed or be due to complete a University course are Degree Level i.e. Education Studies, Criminology with Psychology, Sports Studies, Sociology, Psychology
- Have completed a placement during your studies which covers at least a 6 week time period – we will need to obtain a reference for this
- Available from ASAP – ideally on a full time basis
- Having a full driving license and having your own vehicle is highly desirable
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willing to apply for one
- The ability to work on initiative and proactively
- Able to work across Lincoln in a variety of settings
About Vision for Education
Salary
£75 to £80 per day
- A relevant Degree such as Education or Psychology
