Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work at a school in Brentwood. This is a full-time role, ideal for a graduate who is looking for a route into teaching and wants to gain experience in local Secondary Schools. To start in September, this position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.

The role

The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in KS3-KS5, they must have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to support students across core subjects.

Requirements
To be considered for the Graduate Teaching Assistant position, you will:

  • Have experience working with students aged 11-18
  • Bachelor's degree and right to work in the UK
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required.
