The Head Teacher of an East Riding Secondary school seeks to appoint a German Teacher in January 2023. This will be a fixed term role initially running until the Easter holidays, however there may be potential for the German Teacher to work in post for the remainder of the academic year. The successful German Teacher will be teaching German to KS3 and GCSE, as the sole German Teacher in the school you will be tasked with planning and marking your lessons. The successful candidate will set high expectations of themself and their pupils, to be considered for this role you will take pride in teaching great engaging lessons.

This large secondary academy is based in the East Riding of Yorkshire approximately 15 minutes to east of the city centre. The successful German Teacher will be working within a supportive MFL department with guidance from an Outstanding Senior Leader Team. The School forms part of a larger multi academy trust with an excellent reputation, collaborative practice and support from partnering schools is highly encouraged.

• Recent experience of teaching German to GCSE
