Vision for Education are looking for a full time General Support Assistant to support across EYFS to join our successful supply support team to work in a two-form entry primary school in Sunderland.

About the role

Vision for Education are looking for a full time General Support Assistant to support across EYFS to join our successful supply support team to work in a two-form entry primary school within Sunderland. The suitable candidate will be working across Early Years throughout the week. The salary will be dependent on experience, training, or qualifications with the role beginning ASAP until the end of the academic year. Working as a part of a close-knit, helpful and organised team the successful candidate will focus on proving general support across Early Years ensuring that the children are understanding the core subjects as well as being challenged in the correct way to make sufficient progress for the rest of the year. The role will be Monday – Friday 08:30 – 15:30 working across EYFS, the suitable candidate would need to have experience of working with children with mixed needs and varying abilities.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of General Support Teaching Assistant you will:
  • • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject
  • • Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 15:30 Monday – Friday.
  • • Have a DBS on the Update Service or, willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£10 to £11 per hour
