Vision for Education are seeking General Cover Teachers to work across SEND settings. This is an excellent opportunity for adaptable and resilient educators looking for flexible work while making a meaningful impact on the lives of pupils with additional needs.

You will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, maintaining structure in the classroom, and supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ASC, ADHD, SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects and key stages
• Support pupils with diverse SEND needs, adapting your approach as required
• Manage classroom behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
• Provide feedback to the school and agency following each assignment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• QTS, HLTA status, or relevant classroom experience (desirable)
• Strong behaviour management and adaptability
• A patient, proactive, and flexible approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK

About you:

To be considered for the General Cover Teacher role, you will:

Hold suitable qualifications, QTS/PGCE or relevant teaching experience

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
