We are currently recruiting a dedicated Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking, supportive primary school in Cwmbran, supporting pupils in the Foundation Phase with a range of learning and developmental needs. You will receive an excellent rate of pay of £444.60 to £509.60 per week, with both day-to-day supply and full-time roles available. Full-time positions run Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, giving you your evenings and weekends free for a healthy work–life balance.

The school works in partnership with Vision for Education to recruit skilled and passionate education professionals. As a Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant in Cwmbran, you will support young learners with early literacy, numeracy, communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and creative lessons.

Previous experience in a primary school, early years, childcare, or education setting is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided. The most important qualities are patience, enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping young children learn and thrive. You may also support small group work, one-to-one interventions, and pupils who require additional learning support.
