We are currently working with a secondary school based in Crawley who are looking to recruit a First Aider due to start in September 2022 for 32 hours and 30 minutes per week, hours would be between 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday.

The school are looking for a calm, well organised and caring First Aider who has good literacy skills and will be confident using Microsoft Office software. The First Aider ideally with have experience working in a school environment but this isn’t essential.

• Providing first aid care to the students (and staff if required) if they are injured or become unwell during the school day
• Support students with known medical conditions in line with their individual health care plan and supervise students who need to take approved medication
• Recording of new and changing student medical information in SIMS and liaising with the external school nurse

The secondary school is a diverse, high achieving and oversubscribed mixed school with 1500 students in Year 7 – 11. They are a school where academic achievement, and the wellbeing of the students is at the heart of what they do.
