This is a supply EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) role, based in a Reception classroom, which will commence in November 2022 until July 2023. The full time hours are Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm.Working as part of a dynamic and creative Early Years Foundation Stage (TA), the EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) will focus on providing general classroom support for a class of 25 Reception children. There will be phonics interventions that will need to be actioned in the role, as well as other 1:1 support with some SEND children.

Based in Spennymoor, this average sized primary school offers education for children from Nursery to Year 6 and is easily accessible for public transport.

• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare / Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Have experience supporting children in primary education in Early Years.
