Looking to start a career in education? We are recruiting Entry Level Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across the Cirencester (GL7) area.
No school experience is needed. This Entry Level Teaching Assistant role is designed for people who want to learn on the job, gain real classroom experience, and build a long-term career in education. You’ll be supported from day one while working in welcoming primary school settings.
What you’ll be doing as an Entry Level Teaching Assistant:
- Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or 1:1
- Helping the class teacher with day-to-day activities
- Supporting learning, behaviour, and engagement
- Building positive relationships with primary-aged pupils
- Gaining hands-on experience in real classrooms
Training & Development – Entry Level Teaching Assistant
As part of your Entry Level Teaching Assistant role, you’ll complete our National Teaching Assistant Programme, including:
- Safeguarding in education
- Behaviour management
- Introduction to being a Teaching Assistant
- SEN awareness in schools and colleges
Full guidance and support are provided throughout your training and placement as an Entry Level Teaching Assistant.
Support & Placement
- Help securing a primary school placement in Cirencester (GL7)
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
- Step-by-step guidance throughout your journey
- Opportunities to progress into long-term or permanent roles
Flexible Work – Entry Level Teaching Assistant
- 0-hour contract with full flexibility
- Work around your availability
- Day-to-day or longer placements available
What we’re looking for in an Entry Level Teaching Assistant:
- Interest in working with children in a primary setting
- Reliable, positive, and willing to learn
- Good communication skills
- Patient and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
