Vision for Education is currently recruiting a specialist Teacher of English with experience of teaching to at least GCSE Level. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will have experience teaching GCSE up to GCSE as a minimum.

About the role

This role is a long-term supply role covering a maternity for a period of 1 year from May, potentially June this year – for one full year. You will be based at a large Secondary Academy in Chesterfield, who are part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of English Teacher (Maternity Cover) you will:
  • • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • • Have experience teaching English in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE Level.
  • • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
  • • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.

Salary

£131 to £213 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • • Have experience teaching English in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE Level.
