Are you a qualified teacher who has a excellent knowledge of English and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential ?

About the role

This role is a unique and exciting opportunity to work across secondary schools in Sunderland allowing you to put your excellent English knowledge to use assisting small groups of pupils to improve their English subject knowledge and assist them to achieve their grades. Some pupils need extra help in achieving their grades and to catch up on school they may have missed in the last few years or just to assist them in areas of English they may need extra support in. This role is ideal for experienced teachers who want to expand their teaching experiences or newly qualified teachers wanting to dive head first into a rewarding and satisfying role. For newly qualified teachers this is an excellent way to entre the work force and gain valuable teaching experience in a wide range of schools. This role will involve working across key stage 3 and 4.

The schools are looking for someone to be enthusiastic and have positive impact on daily school life. They are a well respected in the Sunderland local authority and welcome supply staff openly to assist in the daily running of the school. The schools expect a high level of professionalism and provide support to those who join their staff.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of English Intervention Teacher (secondary) you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Salary

£105 to £215 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience working with Children
