We are currently working with a Sixth Form College in Manchester who are looking for an Educational Support Assistant to start in September 2022 until July 2023 with the possibility of being taken onto a permanent contract.
About the role
This is a role enables students with additional needs to meet their aspirations and realise their goals. As an Educational Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting groups and/or individual learners with identified Learning Difficulties /Disabilities. The role will be supporting SEN students for timetabled lessons and providing 1 to 1 support outside of the classroom. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with young people aged between 16 and 19 and hold a degree as they will be supporting students on A-Level and Advanced BTEC courses. Good IT skills are also required s the role will also involve adapting resources for SEN students.
