About the role
I am looking for a EYFS Teaching Assistant / EY TA / Early Years Teaching Assistant for our client school in Bristol. This is a part time, term time only permanent position. The deal candidate will be proficient in improving basic numeracy and literacy with specialist skills in literacy that will enable you to work with targeted individuals. You will have GCSE grade of C or higher in English and mathematics or equivalent qualification and NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.

This is a large Primary setting in Central Bristol and due to its location, it has excellent access to public transport links and has a car park. Children receive a varied and creative educational experience delivered by dedicated and motivated staff. The Early Years Team are highly regarded and achieve excellent results.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification
- GCSE grade of C or higher in English and mathematics or equivalent qualification
- Ideal have experience working with children with English as a second or additional Language (EAL / ESOL)
- Have knowledge of the new EYFS reforms and EYs assessment
Key responsibilities
- Delivery of EYFS / Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- To lead and plan resource activities and identify children’s next steps
- Ensure that a safe, secure, caring and supportive environment is provided to all children

Salary
£19,655 to £20,000 per year
- GCSE grade of C or higher in English and mathematics (or equivalent qualification) and NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants.
