Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Early Years Practitioner (TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in the North Tyneside area.

About the role

Working as part of a dynamic and creative Early Years (EYFS) team, the appointed EYFS Practitioner will focus on delivering a high standard of care to children aged 0-5, this role will include general support as well as some one to one when required. Ideally the school is looking for someone with experience of working with 0-2 Year olds as there will be a requirement to work in their Baby Room. This role would be full time, initially working 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday but it would be beneficial if the successful candidate is flexible with their working hours. (Opening hours are 7.30am – 5.30pm) The successful applicant will hold experience of supporting in the Early Years Foundation Stage and will have a genuine passion for the Early Years.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Years Practitioner you will:
  • • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
  • • Have experience of working as a Nursery Nurse in a busy Early Years Foundation Stage environment
  • • Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
  • • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
  • • Ideally have experience of supporting children aged 0-5.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
