Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within a reception class at a fantastic primary school in the Newcastle area.
About the role
The setting are looking for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to focus predominately on pupils’ early phonics development and therefore an experienced candidate would be best suited to this role. This is a full-time role, working between the hours of 08:30-15:30, Monday-Friday. The TA will be confident in supporting Phonics learning within the classroom, focusing on offering small intervention groups throughout the day, working with 3-5 children at a time. They must be knowledgeable, creative and caring towards supporting each individual child and offer differentiated and targeted learning.

Requirements
- • Hold a minimum of level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- • Have had experience of supporting children with diverse needs.
- • Experience of teaching Read, Write, Inc would be beneficial.
- • Have experience of teaching and supporting Phonics Learning.

Salary
£60 to £65 per day
- • Level 3 in Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
