The role and school
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teacher of DT to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local Secondary schools in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. This is a Supply teaching role, offering full and part time, and flexible working conditions to suit your needs. The desired Design Technology Teacher will be working in a number of settings, giving variety in your day to day. You will be working with students with a wide range of ability levels from diverse backgrounds. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but experience of teaching a number of DT disciplines would be hugely advantageous.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of DT Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Have experience teaching Secondary Design Technology with at least one specialism of Product Design, Electronics, Food Technology, Textiles, Resistant Materials up to GCSE or the BTEC Construction or Engineering Program.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
