Salary: £140 – £226.63 per day (dependent on experience and scale)

About the role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a creative and adaptable Supply Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to work across a range of secondary schools in the East Riding of Yorkshire. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, which may include areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Textiles, or Food Technology—depending on your specialism and experience. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to inspire students in practical, hands-on learning environments.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4 (applications from ECTs are welcomed)

  • Be confident managing behaviour and delivering practical lessons in well-equipped DT workshops

  • Provide two references, including one from a recent teaching role

  • Be flexible, reliable, and ideally have access to your own transport for travel to schools across East Riding

  • Hold, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
