Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local SEMH school in North Lincolnshire, this role starts in September 2022.
About the role
The desired Cover Supervisor will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. Cover supervisors do not require Qualified Teacher Status. They involve delivering pre-set work for a variety of subjects while ensuring the continuation of education for all pupils. The Cover supervisor role is ideal for those looking to go into teaching. They provide a perfect opportunity to gain experience, giving you a great insight into working in schools.
About the school
The school is an independent school in North Lincolnshire working with students from KS1 through to KS5. The students have a mixture of SEMH needs and can exhibit challenging behaviour. The school is a dedicated and supportive environment, always encouraging personal growth for staff. Their child centric holistic approach provides a warm and caring environment for their students.
Requirements
- Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching
- Must have experience working with students capable of exhibiting challenging behaviour, ideally experience with ADHD and Autism
- Great classroom management skills
- Have a passion for working with children
- Ideally a degree, but this is not essential

Salary
£100 to £110 per day
