We are looking for an inspiring Cover Supervisor for a role at an SEN setting, outside of Kirkby Lonsdale, starting ASAP.
About the role
The setting requires an inspiring practitioner as a Cover Supervisor, to cover the planning and delivery of lessons to all of the children and young people who attend the setting when their teacher is absent, as well as covering Teaching Assistants when they are absent.
The ideal Cover Supervisor must be enthusiastic, who can work in a creative way to positively affect the lives of young people and enrich the curriculum through meeting the needs of the setting's individual education plans. The candidate must also be qualified to degree level with QTS/QTLS and above.
About the school
The young people who attend the setting all have an EHCP and meets the needs of a range of SEN including; Autism, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health & Medical needs and related behavioural difficulties.
Due to the rural location of the setting, this role is best suited to candidate who drive or have access to consistent transport, as public transport links are poor to the setting.
Requirements
- Excellent classroom practitioner who can plan and deliver lessons to a range of abilities;
- Ability to work successfully with young people with challenging behaviour;
- High expectations of others;
- Ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced extremely environment;
- Ability to work on own initiative.
About Vision for Education
Salary
£70 to £85 per day
- Holding a Degree level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
