About the Role

We are recruiting passionate Construction Lecturers to deliver accredited vocational courses across Further Education colleges in the North.

You will play a key role in equipping learners with the practical skills, technical knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed in industry.

We are particularly interested in Lecturers with experience in:

  • Bricklaying

  • Electrical Installation

  • Multi-Skills

  • Plumbing & Gas

  • Plastering

  • Carpentry & Joinery

  • Construction Plant Operations

  • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)

  • Fabrication & Welding

  • Renewable Technologies

  • CAD

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and assess engaging vocational lessons
Coordinate teaching and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
Work collaboratively with Heads of School and curriculum teams
Act as a class tutor, supporting learners academically and pastorally
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment

What We’re Looking For

  • Occupational competence within your specialist trade

  • Relevant industry qualifications

  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

  • Experience delivering vocational training (desirable)

  • Passion for supporting and motivating young people
