About the role

Vision for Education are currently working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in the Tameside area who are looking for an ICT/Computing teacher to start in September to cover a maternity leave. The desired teacher will be taking on year 10 and 11 GCSE classes and working within the Edexcel exam specification in a supportive and welcoming ICT/Computing department. This role would be ideal for an experienced teacher of ICT/Computing or an ECT looking for their first role.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Computing Teacher you will:
  • Requirements - to hold UK QTS/QTLS or and have recent experience teaching Computing/ICT in a secondary school setting

Salary

£600 to £925 per week

To hold QTS/QTLS or equivalent and have recent experience teaching within a secondary school
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Post 14 Qualification with QTLS
  • Be a passionate and innovative Teacher of Computing/ICT with KS3, KS4 experience
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
  • Have high expectations of students and staff alike
  • Experience within the Edexcel GCSE exam specification is desirable but not essential
