In this highly rewarding role, you will deliver tailored learning experiences for students with complex needs—supporting their academic, social, and emotional development, and helping each young person reach their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering engaging, individualised lessons.

  • Creating and reviewing EHCPs and Behaviour Support Plans.

  • Working collaboratively with LSAs, therapists, and care staff in a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Building a safe, inspiring, and nurturing classroom environment.

  • Communicating regularly with families, carers, and external professionals.

  • Championing each student’s wellbeing, independence, and personal growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience supporting students with SEND (particularly autism and/or SEMH).

  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills.

  • A compassionate, student-centred approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to adapt teaching to individual needs and EHCP targets.

  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport (desirable due to location).

Why Join This School?

  • A supportive, welcoming staff team.

  • Excellent CPD and professional development opportunities.

  • Small class sizes with high staff-to-student ratios.

  • A school that values creativity, individuality, and wellbeing.

  • Beautiful setting in North Bristol with excellent SEND provision.
