We are looking to recruit a number of highly motivated Classroom Assistants on behalf of a secondary special needs schools based in Sunderland to work in various roles, due to start immediately.
About the role
In the Classroom Assistant role, you will be required to support children with their learning and personal development, this could involve some 1:1 support. You will be supporting the class teacher by delivering intervention programmes to support children in reaching their goals.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Classroom Assistant you will:
- Have recent experience supporting students aged between 2 - 17
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Recent relevant experience working with children or vulnerable groups of people
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
- Be open minded, supportive and enthusiastic
