About the role

The successful candidate will be offering 1:1 support to a child with additional needs. They must have a professional and approachable manner and be able to build a fantastic rapport with the child and class teacher to ensure the pupil is thoroughly supported.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Child Support Work (Primary) you will:
  • • Have previous experience of supporting children with SEND.
  • • Be resilient and an understanding character to children who may display challenging behaviour.
  • • Have a caring and adaptable nature.
  • • Have a desire to work with children with SEND.
  • • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience working with young people and/or children.
  • An understanding of SEND and how to support children.
