Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to work in an various schools in and around Louth on a flexible basis
About the role
Working with primary and secondary aged students who may be at risk of exclusion to try and motivate them to learn. You will be in sole control of the classes of up to 15 students and will bring your own spark and creativity to the groups. The cover for these sessions is required on an ad-hoc basis so ideal for people looking for flexible work.
The schools require mentors with experience working with disengaged students to deliver pre-planned workshops and provide 1:1 support on an ad hoc basis.

Requirements
- Have previous experience working with children with a range of abilities and maybe some special education needs
- Have suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students.
- Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges.
- Have a Full UK Driving License and access to transport is desirable due to the location of the schools
About Vision for Education
Salary
£375 to £400 per hour
- A minimum of 2 months experience supporting SEND/ SEMH students in an educational setting
