The Role
- The primary role involves assessing each individual’s needs, then developing and implementing strategies to support positive behaviour. This includes offering guidance to help manage behaviour across different situations.
- Supporting intervention plans based on assessment outcomes by putting tailored strategies into practice that address each individual’s specific needs. This includes helping individuals develop new skills, build confidence, and improve their ability to cope with challenging situations, while monitoring progress and adapting approaches as needed to ensure effective and consistent support.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure that each individual’s needs are understood, prioritised, and consistently supported.

About you:
To be considered for the Behaviour Support Assistant role, you will:
Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
