ALN Teaching Assistant – Newport (Monday–Friday | 8:30–15:30)

We are currently recruiting a dedicated ALN Teaching Assistant to join a caring and supportive specialist school in Newport, supporting pupils aged 3–16 with a range of additional learning needs and developmental conditions. The school works in partnership with Vision for Education to recruit skilled and passionate education professionals. As an ALN Teaching Assistant in Newport, you will support pupils with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, learning disabilities, anxiety, and other complex educational and behavioural needs.
Previous experience in SEN / ALN, education, care, or support work is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided. The most important qualities are patience, resilience, reliability, and a genuine desire to support children with additional needs. Your role will involve supporting communication, sensory regulation, behaviour, and personal care, while promoting independence and confidence.
