We are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to support 1:1 and in small groups and large groups.

About the role

Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a full time Early Years Teaching assistant. As a teaching assistant within an Early Years setting, you will be required to support and nurture around 28 pupils. You should have a strong knowledge of phonics and how to develop speech and language skills.

About the school

Vision for Education currently work with a one form entry primary school based in Stockport. This one form entry school which enables each child to be able to think critically and independently and to understand how they learn best.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:
  • - Have early years’ experience
  • - A strong understanding of phonics, speech and language and learning through play
  • - General understanding of EYFS framework and other basic learning programmes/strategies.
  • - A level 2 qualification is desirable but not essential.

Salary

£10 to £11 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience working with SEN pupils is vital for this role.
