Vision for Education for are seeking a 1:1 teaching assistant, to assist children in day-to-day activities
About the role
This role requires a teaching assistant who has extensive experience of supporting young people who display signs of anxiety and depression. This is a full-time, long-term role from Monday to Thursday each week. Hours of work will be 9am to 3.30pm. The successful applicant will have had previous experience in supporting individuals with social, emotional and mental health needs.
About the school
Based in Chesterfield this unique setting specialises in the education of students who display SEMH and MLD and need a 1:1 tutor to assist them throughout their day.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:
- • Experience of supporting children with MLD and SEMH
- • Experience of supporting a vulnerable children or adults
- • Previous experience of working on a 1:1 basis is highly desirable
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
