SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 & Small Group Support)

£88 – £105 per day (PAYE)

✨ The Opportunity

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Clacton-on-Sea. This rewarding role involves providing tailored support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, helping children to access learning, build confidence, and develop independence in a safe and inclusive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide personalised support to pupils with SEN, adapting strategies to individual needs.

• Assist with EHCP targets, classroom activities, and behaviour management plans.

• Encourage positive relationships, emotional resilience, and active participation in learning.

• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes.

• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with SEN (school, care, or community settings).

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children’s needs.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility and resilience to adapt to different situations.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
