Vision for Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Colchester. This rewarding role involves working 1:1 with a pupil with additional needs, helping them thrive both academically and socially.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide personalised 1:1 support for children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, or communication needs.

• Assist with EHCP targets, lesson activities, and behaviour plans.

• Build strong, supportive relationships that boost confidence and independence.

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with SEN (school, care, or community settings).

• A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
