Full Job Description: Vision for Education are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants/Support Assistants to work in Primary and Secondary Schools with autistic, MLD, PMLD and EBD Pupils. Positions available may vary from a selection of long term and day to day assignments across all Key stages. You will be proactive, considerate, patient, and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. A passion for working with children is also a necessity. You must have recent experience of working in SEN Environment in the UK with Primary and Secondary aged Children.   • GTC wants to safeguard teacher professionalism
    The General Teaching Council for England’s Executive Committee met on Wednesday 9 June in emergency session to consider the implications of the Secretary of State’s proposal to seek the abolition of teaching’s independent professional body. Members of the Committee expressed their shock at the decision and their thanks to GTC staff who are continuing to operate services to a high standard of professionalism in a period of great uncertainty. All of the GTC’s statutory duties remain in force pending the passage of legislation.
