Full Job Description: Vision for Education are currently recruiting for experienced SEN Teachers to work in both Secondary and EBD Schools in and around Manchester. Positions available will vary from a selection of long term and day to day assignments teaching your specialist subject or conducting general classroom cover. Successful Candidates need to have had recent experience working in either an EBD school or working with students with SEN. You will preferably have knowledge of teaching reading, spelling and maths to pupils who are working at levels below 3, as well as some experience of P levels. It would be advantageous if you have some experience and knowledge of working with secondary aged children with Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADH, ASD, as well as students with Behavioural Difficulties. Successful candidates must be enthusiastic, committed and have a passion for teaching children of secondary school age. It is essential that you hold a valid, recognised teaching qualification and ideally you will have 6 weeks recent experience of teaching in the UK. We must also be able to contact your past school to obtain a reference.
