Full Job Description: Vision for Education have an ongoing demand for qualified English teachers in West Yorkshire. Candidates need to hold a recognised teaching qualification and be happy to potentially work in a variety of different schools in the area. Vision will be able to offer you a selection of long term and day to day assignments teaching your specialist subject or conducting general classroom cover. You must be dedicated, show flexability and adaptablity. Whether you are an NQT or experienced teacher Vision for Education has the placement to suit you.   • Special Educational Needs schools from Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire and Redcar and Cleveland recently competed in the first Annual football tournament organised by Middlesbrough Supply Teaching Agency Vision for Education.
  • The General Teaching Council for England’s Executive Committee met on Wednesday 9 June in emergency session to consider the implications of the Secretary of State’s proposal to seek the abolition of teaching’s independent professional body. Members of the Committee expressed their shock at the decision and their thanks to GTC staff who are continuing to operate services to a high standard of professionalism in a period of great uncertainty. All of the GTC’s statutory duties remain in force pending the passage of legislation.
