New branch opened in Carlisle

Vision for Education, the UK’s most trusted education recruitment agency, has opened a new branch in Carlisle to be able to service schools in the Cumbrian Local Authority.

The experienced team will be headed up by Darren Starling, senior development manager, who will be supported by Gareth Gaston, secondary manager, Tim Ayton, SEN manager and Becky Treweek, primary manager.

Vision for Education works closely with both its schools and teachers to provide the best possible match of skills and experience to enable schools to continue to deliver the highest standards of education.

Darren said ‘We are excited about bringing our expertise and unique way of working to Cumbria.

As a company, we work hard to provide, not only an excellent service to our schools, but also to support them to enhance their pupils’ learning environment and experiences through sponsorship of activities and regular competitions.

In addition we offer unrivalled support and training to all our teaching staff, including free CPD training courses to ensure they are always at the forefront of the industry, which is why we are fast becoming the number one choice for education recruitment.’

About the team

Gareth Gaston

Gareth is responsible for the secondary education department in Cumbria, working with secondary schools, colleges and academies in the area. His department provides teachers, LSA’s, invigilators, cover supervisors and any other staff a secondary school could possibly need! Gareth is also passionate about Accelerated Reading, so speak to him to find out how your school could benefit.

Tim Ayton

Tim is responsible for the SEN division in Cumbria. He has worked as a LSA in a variety of SEN settings and with students with SEMH difficulties as well as ASC, MLD and PMLD.  He’d love to spend some time volunteering in your school in order to get a view as to the types of children that you have and the types of staff you would need, should you need supply.

Becky Treweek

Becky looks after our nursery, infant, junior and primary clients in the Cumbria area, alongside Darren Starling. They are passionate about supporting primary schools with literacy, STEM, attendance and behaviour incentives, and spend a lot of time in schools to get a view of the makeup of a school. They provide teachers, teaching assistants, office staff and caretakers to schools all over the county.

The new opening is located at Warwick Mill Business Village and joins Vision for Education’s existing network of branches in Newcastle, Durham, Middlesbrough, Manchester, Huddersfield, Lincolnshire, Sheffield, Nottingham and Peterborough.
