Full Job Description: Vision for Education are urgently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work in a school in Gateshead for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). Students are at risk of, or have already been permanently excluded from school because of the difficult and challenging behaviours they display.
The ideal person will have a passion for working with students with behavioural difficulties and the patience to be able to bring out the best in them, no matter how many set backs there may be on the way. The job will become permanent after a successful 12 week trial period, during which you will be paid through Vision for Education.
You must have QTS Status and the ability to teach Maths up to a minimum of GCSE level. You must hold a fully enhanced DBS Certificate, or be will to undergo one, full assistance with which can be provided. The role is due to begin ASAP for the right person.
